One of two prototype tables designed for Maison Carrée, Aalto's sole architectural project in France.
The other example of the model was in use at Aalto’s home in Munkkiniemi, Helsinki. It is retained in the permanent collection of the Aalto Museum, Jyväskylä, Finland.
