Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) is a recognized Finnish designer and architect. He became known for his talent and unique style. The Aalto vase is one of the most popular glass objects of all time and is produced today by Iittala. Alvar Aalto was also involved in implementing the expression "Scandiavian modern".
