History:
The Peruvian floor vase was inspired on an earthenware vessel from the late Chimú period (1150-1460) which is kept in the collection of the Ethnographic Museum, Stockholm (Inv. no. 1887.08.7221). The Peruvian floor vase was included in Estrid Erikson's very first collection in 1924.
