Pewter, glass, cork.
History:
The company's founder, Estrid Ericson, drew inspiration from many different sources, and the early pewter collection that Svenskt Tenn manufactured and sold included a small group of items inspired by the Ethnographic Museum's collection of Peruvian ceramics. These included the well-known Peruvian urn (ref. 2311015) and a fish-shaped bottle, intended to be placed on a pewter tray surrounded by cooling ice cubes. Björn Trägårdh designed this somewhat simplified version in 1929-1930.
