Carved oak, inlays of hardwood, recently upholstered in linen fabric.
Provenance:
Lars Olof Sandström (born 1876 in Ekshärad, Värmland). The armchair stood at Törefors manor house Kalix municipality. Then within the family of Mosterud's farm, Arvika municipality.

History:
Executed and exhibited at the Baltic Exhibition, Malmö 1914. The library exhibited at the exhibition consisted of two armchairs, one table and a long bookcase. The booth was also adorned with weaves, sparkle grilles, ceiling lamp and urns from the artisans of Taserud Arvika.
According to the notification of admission to the Baltic Exhibition:
Library furniture, Black oak with inlays, motif: “Al”.

Made by Karl Eriksson (Master Karl) assisted by a worker.
