Adjustable brass stem and white painted metal shade. Pine base. Stamped Artek Aalto. Design Made in Finland.
Designed in 1937-38, this model is called "The Floor Reflector". A similar model is present at Villa Mairea in Maire Gullichsen's ateljee room. This lamp is from an original 1930's interior of a house from Pori, nearby Villa Mairea.
There are many versions of this lamp with a wooden base, but examples with an aluminum shade are very rare.
