Wilhelm Kåge

Wilhelm Kåge (1889-1960) was a Swedish artist, painter and ceramicist. Kåge is known for his ceramics for the Gustavsberg porcelain factory, where he was artistic director 1917–1949. In 1942, together with Stig Lindberg, Kåge started Gustavsberg's studio, which became a kind of aesthetic laboratory for works of art.
