Stig Lindberg
1916-1982
Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) quickly became one of Sweden's most prominent and popular designers during the 20th century. His innovative aesthetics are still considered timeless classics and are sought-after collector's items on the market. After a two-year education in art, Lindberg started at Gustavsbergs Porslinsfabrik at the age of 21 as an apprentice under Wilhelm Kåge and was then active there for the rest of his life.
