Walnut, recently upholstered by Jackson Design in hand woven textil by Hanne Vedel.
History:
During the 1930s Vilhelm Lauritzen designed furniture for several of his projects, including interior pieces for private homes of which only a few are known today. The angular “cut” on the sides was a recurring feature seen in several of his sketch drawings from this period. A comparable sofa was designed for the teachers' room at the Marielyst school 1938.
