History:
Allan Ebeling (1897–1975) was a Swedish artist, sculptor, and ceramicist with an international career, active at Bo Fajans and Upsala-Ekeby and represented in major museum collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Rilton family’s developed through a close personal relationship between the artist and the family. After settling in Torshälla in the 1930s, Ebeling lived and worked there until his death, and his final monumental equestrian sculpture remains in the family garden to this day.
