Rare 'Sandhamn' Table

Hand carved limestone top, hand carved pine base.
With metal plaque impressed 'NK R33848 - C 28 9 33'
The Sandhamn series was the first of the ‘Sportstugemöbler’ range designed by Axel Einar Hjorth for Nordiska Kompaniet.
We have two examples of this extremely rare table, the other from the first year of production, 1929. Ref no. 191138.
