The "Edvin Glass" were the fist stage of a vase made in the Ariel technique. Edvin glasses, were made in a small number, they were polished and therefore a finished piece. Normally the next part of the process of making an Ariel vase, is to make another layer of clear glass capturing the air in the deep insets and then expanding the vase, a very difficult process, in obtaining a controlled result.
