Lemon wood with inlaid ebony. Carved details.

Designed and made between 1900-1905. This desk was a special commission for Dr. Hugo Halberstadt, who was a collector of Japanese objects.
Applying his skills to all aspects of the applied arts, Rohde became one of Georg Jensen's most famous silver designers.
