Hjorth introduced Swedish decorative arts to America, exhibiting his works together with Carl Hörvik and Carl Malmsten at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, 1927. Between 1926-1938, Hjorth worked as chief designer and architect for the Nordiska Kompaniet.”
