Marianne Richter

1916-2010

Marianne Richter (1916–2010) was a luminary in the Swedish textile design, celebrated for her vibrant and dynamic contributions to mid-20th-century textile art. She got invited to work for Märta Måås-Fjetterström in Båstad during some summers. The tenure at the Märta Måås-Fjetterström studio saw the creation of some of her most illustrious works, which are distinguished by their vivid colors and intricate geometric patterns and a great number of color combinations.
