Jacques Adnet

Jacques Adnet (1900–1984) was a French designer renowned for his avant-garde approach to furniture and interior design, incorporating luxurious materials and a distinctive Art Deco style. He exhibited at the 1925 'Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes'. Here he was among the first to implement metal and glass in furniture. Amongst his notable works are the decoration of the private apartments of the President at the Elysée Palace, and the meeting room of the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
