Louise Adelborg


Louise Adelborg (1885–1971) was an esteemed Swedish designer, renowned for her contributions to porcelain design, particularly during her long tenure at Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory. Adelborg’s most celebrated work is the "Ostindia" porcelain series, introduced in 1932, which became an icon of Swedish design and remains popular today. Her designs are characterized by their delicate precision and intricate motifs, often inspired by Swedish flora, reflecting a deep affinity for both nature and national heritage.
