Jacksons is pleased to announce an exhibition featuring a unique selection of historical design objects at Asprey's flagship store in London from October 10 - November 23, 2013, curated by designer Hakan Rosenius.

Asprey is renowned for curating and presenting beautiful objects and design from around the world, working with talented designers and expert artisans, across all product categories. Continuing with this sourcing and showcasing the best in design, Hakan Rosenius, one of Asprey´s talented designers, has handpicked a selection of unique objects from Jacksons extensive vintage Scandinavian collection.

The exhibit will take place at the Asprey flagship store, the exhibition rooms, 167 New Bond Street,  London W1S 4AY.

No.8640. Tapio Wirkkala Protoype Leaf and Table. Sculpture / prototype table top. Laminated birch and ebonised solid wood. Provenance: The owner of Soinne et Kni, the workshop that produced Wirkkala´s wood sculptures. Marked KOE II on the back.
No.7263. Anna Petrus Table sculptured by the artist in oak, copper tray with engravings of stylized fishing scenes. Base and tray signed A. Petrus.
No.7261. Rare Tapio Wirkkala Table in laminated birch and ebonised solid wood. One of three known to be produced. Manufacterd by Cabinetmaker Martti Lindqvist together with the Tapio Wirkkala. Made in 1953.
No.8639. Malmsten Sofa, pair of armchairs, and table in rosewood, inlays of several different fruit woods. Ca 1940.
No.7972. Fritz Henningsen Wingback Chair and Footstool. Natural leather and oak legs, original buttons. Rare example with footstool. Fritz Henningsen had been both a cabinet maker and retailer. Ca 1940.
No.7452. Hjorth Desk & Chair. Oak and original leather and leather covered buttons. Exhibited at the Stockholm exhibition 1930. Metal Label R35325-C MÖB. Model "Funkis".
